It has been a long time that I have been on the hunt for a drafting table... I'm kind of picky about it. I didn't want a metal one, wood was what I had in mind. I didn't want it to be huge, just big enough for my sheets of water colour paper. And most of all, I didn't want to pay too much since I've gone this long without one.
John came home Friday and popped the trunk of the van and this is what he had in the back! I immediately cleared out a spot in our old playroom (we are changing this to an office/bike/craft room) covered the yucky desktop. I can't wait to do my first piece on it.... hopefully I get to use it before the end of the summer.

Drafting table envy here! I've been wanting something like this for drawing too. It needs to be a very hard, very flat (no bending) surface, and large. Is there more where John got this?
